News: Grants Front of Home Lighting Grant Program CARAG will provide up to $500 in NRP funds to offset the cost of purchasing and/or installing lighting on the front of CARAG homes and businesses. Block Club Activities & Improvements Grant Program CARAG will provide NRP funds to encourage block club activates such as National Night Out events and/or group crime prevention activities. Home Improvement Programs CARAG has partnered with the Housing Resource Center- Southside (722-7141) to administer the CARAG “1-3 Unit” Matching Deferred Loan and Historic Preservation Deferred Loan programs. However, CARAG is NOT taking new applications for these programs, as waiting lists currently exist. CARAG is currently working to develop their Phase II NRP Action Plan, which will include homeimprovement programs.
